Having worked in the legal field for over 35 years in a “high stress” environment, earning her MBA in her forties, reinventing herself in her fifties, and getting an additional life coach certification in her sixties, Emy Fernandez can relate to her clients.

As a Life Coach with Coral Gables Counseling Center and Recruiting Director with Ascension Global Staffing, Emy helps ambitious attorneys achieve their business and career goals in a competitive market while assuring their lifestyle aligns with their goals.

She supports her clients by teaching them to align what she refers to as the Two Pillars: Mindset and Lifestyle.

By aligning the two, her clients strategically navigate their way to a happy and sustainable way of life while scaling their career or business to new heights.

Emy also works with law firms helping partners grow and scale their law practice by providing both group coaching to their employees and business coaching to the partners.

In addition to her private practice, Emy has participated in the following programs and events:

· Panelist for the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Ventanita series;

· Panelist for the Hispanic National Bar Association’s virtual event on “Best Strategies and Tactics to Leave 2020 behind and Prosper in 2021!”;

· Co-wrote and presented a CLE course for Clesq titled “There Is No One Alive Who is Youer than You! The mental health challenges affecting our women lawyers”

· Guest speaker for the Association of Legal Administrators on the topic of Burnout and Work-Life Balance

Emy is the co-host of Coral Gables Counseling Center’s popular podcast The Counseling Corner and contributes to its weekly blog series, “Coach Thought of the Week.”

Finally, when Emy is not in her office or enjoying her grandchildren, she enjoys spending time on the tennis courts.
